题目： Non-equilibirum stochastic system: dynamic ensemble approach

First, I will try to summarize main research topics in this field. Then, I will mainly focus on the potential switching model, a simple but well-studied experimental setup for non-equilibrium system. Using this model, I will discuss what is energy dissipation along a stochastic trajectory, how to define entropy production for it, and what are the connection between these two definition, the effect of coarse-graining. The main mathematical tools are the dynamic ensemble approach or the path-integrla approaches. I will use this approach to derive several central theorems in this field.
